Our presence was requested this year at the annual Volunteer Recognition dinner. We almost didn't go because that day was the start of our vacation. I'm so glad we went, as the Hubster was given the highest honor of the evening by being chosen as the Volunteer of Distinction for the 2008-2009 year, and as such was named as the overall Volunteer of the Year for both the Army and the Air Force - civilians and active duty members - in our area in Germany. The Hubster is awesome. <3
